In Medicine of One, Clay Lomakayu invited us to travel the path to the center of the self, which was born out of his own spiritual journey and working with clients helping them do the same. In One Noble Truth, Lomakayu focuses on what it means to live from that center. From here we are a beacon of peace, harmony and balance through the action of compassion which when we stand at the center begins with our self. This living at the center is the greatest gift we can give both the world and ourselves. By doing so we become a channel through which the infinite creative mind expresses itself through a very personal uniqueness that we all are. We honor the oneness we share with all life, but at the same time we honor a beauty that we each shine onto the world.

One Noble Truth (Audible Audio Edition) Clay Lomakayu Medicine of One Books

Books on this topic can often find themselves mired in very wishy-washy and non-specific meanderings; Lomakayu avoids this skilfully with prose of the highest quality, both in technical skill and in content.

The book is neither too simplistic nor inaccessibly complex; Lomakayu's goal is clear to inform, not to confuse, which latter I am sure is the goal of many authors who would rather readers admire them for their apparent depth, instead of actually understand and learn things of value. Here, the inverse is true. The author's tone is very worldly and human; the content, accessibly clear and enlightening.

Another trap that ensnares many writers of this genre, but not Lomakayu, is to project their own very subjective values and/or beliefs; rather, the writings in this book could be very easily applied to whatever belief system the reader may have. To this end, it stands aside from religion, at the very least, while certainly complementing such where extant.

All in all, an excellent book lucidly well-written.

One Noble Truth (Audible Audio Edition) Clay Lomakayu Medicine of One Books Reviews

There is no shortage of self-help books in the market. This is a genre that has been saturated greatly now. But, there is still something about One Noble Truth and the way Clay Lomakayu puts age old psychology into words that makes you want to re-read and re-think all that you have ever known. This is a writer who really knows how to use the power of words effectively and to the fullest. He takes his deep learning of psychology and spiritual teachings from the East and the West and pens them down into this book.

One Noble Truth is about seeking peace. It comes from a place very deep and is extremely profound in its teachings. If you are looking for answers to your dilemmas and problems, then this book may be able to help. Mind you it doesn't give actual solutions. It won't tell you what to do. But it will tell you what you can do differently. It will make you think about your approach to life, and what can be done to alter it for the better. If you seeking some mental and spiritual peace, then you should read this book.

Even if you aren't, you should check it out just for the sake of the writing style. And who knows, maybe you can find some peace in that too.
Drawing on the culture and spirituality of his people, Clay Lomakayu, is the author o9f the book “One Noble Truth”. Lomakayu offers us the same time a restricted and an extended connection to spiritual development. He does so with a form and clarity that is missing from the average of this genre. I for one, resonated much more with the contents of this book than with others and with how they connect to questions such as “Who am I”, and “Why am I here”. These are questions of the Real Self, the Soul, and must be dealt with by recognizing the Soul and what it offers us.
He invites us to go the Center of our self. This resides in a labyrinth fortified by a maze in which we exist. The Center is has always been with us. It is us. He uses the symbol of the Center with a circle in which the Soul resides. The Soul is at the Center of the circle, imprisoned by various desires – fear, greed, rage, separation, etc. - ‘survivalist’ energy units which have no movement and prevents the real self from expression. That expression is very much like the multiple variations of the land, the sky, the birds and the flowers. Nature expressions, but with a much deeper meaning than mere beauty.
You unblock your rejected energies by bringing them into the Circle with no judgement, but with self- compassion. “The Center is the feeling of flow, surrender, knowing, trust, confidence, and openness, protected not by a hard wall, but with your soft radiance. It is the little you that gets out of the way, so that life is simply done through you perfectly and not by you.” “The true self guides us out of the maze of the survivalist mind, and transforms the maze into a labyrinth whose inward spiraling brings us home to the Center where both maze and labyrinth are now a simple Circle, circles within circles on into infinity.”
Always remember “you are the Circle. You are the “Quiet One” and into this compassionate presence invite all your fears, hopes, worries and all your dreams, laughter, joy. As this Circle, as that Quiet One, you are peace and bliss and nothing is thrown out of the Circle of your love. In doing this you live at the Center and choose to commit to the One Noble Truth.”
The One Noble Truth that to live at the Center is to help keep the whole world in harmony and balance. And in keeping with the wider picture, the author asks and answers “What greater gift can I give, than to just be ~ to just live at the Center, as harmony and balance, allowing the force to move through my physical and spiritual spine and flowering outward as my unique heartfulness into the world?”
You would understand that there are many more links involved. The Table of Contents is instructive, and in itself is worth some pondering. Many gems are contained in each Chapter that would make you stop and try to absorb them. I resonated with much in the book, and I appreciate that it is so well written. The book has convinced me that there is truth to the direction to look inside, and you will find what you can send outside. I have always seemed to want to begin from outside-in.
I recommend this book to seekers with questions. It may well prove to be the medium that sets you further along the Path.
One Noble Truth is a spiritually inclined book that helps in seeking one's inner self. It's aim is to help the readers to enjoy growth at a personal and spiritual level. The book shared numerous words of wisdom along with some stories to help readers in their journey of self-growth. The book does not targets a specific religion, but, embraces all humanity irrespective of his or her religious background. Hence, people could fell a connection with the book right from the first page. I liked the passage that stated that hurt and pain is necessary in life, for if the life went smoothly then people would not desire change. Another wisdom that struck me was that people build invisible walls around them and do not indulge in emotions for fear of getting hurt or rejected. If we break this wall and practice compassion towards everyone else, then we ourselves would become the inner circle which connects us to God.

I love reading books such as these for they motivate me and show me the wrongs which I am inclined to practice in my personal life. By reading such types of spiritual growth books from time to time, I do a spiritual cleansing.
